The Mentoring Program
is designed to provide academic support to the first-time-freshmen
who do not meet regular admission criteria. |
||||||||||||||||||||
The program consists
of a team of faculty and staff, who have committed themselves to assist
UL Lafayette students reach their academic and career goals. Each student
(mentee) is paired with a faculty or staff member (mentor) who offers
personal attention and guidance. |
||||||||||||||||||||
In addition, students
take Academic Skills (ASCK) 100, Freshman Seminar in the Fall. Students
who participate in the mentoring program enroll as a cohort. The class
is designed to assist mentees with time management, study and test taking
skills, career choices and many other important topics. |
