Membership in the Black Faculty & Staff Association is open to employees and graduate students of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Membership dues are $20.00 per academic year.  In order to continue providing the programming and resources that we have in the past, we need your continued support in the future.

BFSA Committees are vital to keeping the mission of the organization moving forward.  Asking all BFSA members to consider getting more involved in the 2023-24 year to build a better and stronger organization.

Community Building - Plan social events and networking opportunities on campus and building community connections (Committee Lead - Cheryl Bryant and Ashley Roman)

Learning & Development - Identify professional development opportunities for faculty and staff (Committee Lead -Melissa Lewis)

Social Impact - Promote policy and programming that impact the student community (Committee Lead - Cindy Duhon)

Sustainability - Work on retention, growth, and Legacy of BFSA. Showcase annual Black Student Achievement Award Program (Committee Lead - Ruben Henderson)
